User Experience advice for real estate agents from a UX Content Strategist.

Have you tried to buy a house or condo recently?

If you haven’t, let me tell you it’s been a pretty terrible experience for me.

If you have recently tried to buy a home, you can probably relate that it’s a terrible experience and to the following sentiments in this article.

My overall experience in the state of Florida trying to buy my current condo last year and buy a home with my significant other has been the most unorganized, delusional, technology-deficient, and frustrating experience I’ve ever been through.

For me, it’s how I imagine working in the 1980s was like; Just void of processes, systems, and organization that technology easily provides.

As a UX Content Strategist, my job is to increase how positively users feel during and after interacting with a company's products, systems, and services. I do this by trying to make things as clear, concise, organized, and engaging as possible.

So, when I consider my experience with the current state of the real estate process—it’s my worst nightmare! In fact, I often wonder how sales even happen given the challenges I’ve personally faced.
