From the Gaia series by Dr. Joe Dispenza
Want to learn how to rewire your brain to make changes, manifest the life you want, and heal your body? Dr. Joe Dispenza, researcher, educator, and speaker on neuroscience, epigenetics, and quantum physics reveals his formula in the 13-episode series Rewired on Gaia.
I recently watched all 13 episodes and wanted to share some of the most impactful quotes from the series. Much of the topics covered in the series are fundamentals of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) which I write about here.
Mindset quotes to Help You Get the Life You want
- “Your personality creates your personal reality.”
How you think, how you act, and how you feel creates your reality. Your reality means your life, so if you want to change, you must change your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. To change, you have to become someone else. - “We are not hardwired to be a certain way.”
The brain is capable of change despite so much unconscious programming. Therefore, you can change anytime you want to. - “Your thoughts have an effect on your brain, your body, and your life.”
How you think and feel creates chemicals in the body and a state of being which affects your actions and behaviors. - “If you are feeling stressed, you are trying to control or predict an outcome.”
Wanting to control the direction of our lives is normal. However, we cannot always control the outcome of every situation. Instead of focusing on what you don’t want to happen (worrying), focus on what you do want to happen and prepare alternative solutions. - “Just because I have a thought doesn’t make it true.”
We are constantly bombarded by information from our five senses, which the brain takes in and then deletes, distorts, and generalizes. This creates thoughts in our brains and feelings in our bodies. These thoughts and feelings are our perceptions but not necessarily facts. - “The best way to predict your future is to create it.”
This begins with the thoughts we think and choose to program. This programming dictates our actions, behaviors, habits, and, eventually, the state of our lives.
